Sage Baked Corn
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cup corn
- 2 TBLS flour
- 1 TBLS sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 TBLS sage
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 TBLS butter
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar baking powder, salt and sage.
- Add eggs and milk to dry mixture
- Add corn to 8” dutch oven
- Pour mixture over corn and stir
- Place chunks of butter on top of corn.
- Pepper to taste
- Use 6 coals on bottom and 10 coals on top.
- Cook for 1 hour rotating lid & pot every 15 minutes
