Creamed Mushrooms

Ron and Sandy shared this recipe for creamed mushrooms, which is an especially nice dish.

Creamed Mushrooms


  • 2 pounds of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • Canned evaporated milk
  • Flour


  1. In a Dutch Oven saute mushrooms in butter, add salt, cover and heat until bubbly. Add evaporated milk until the mushrooms are covered.
  2. To thicken, mix a few Tbsp flour with a small amount of additional canned milk. Add the thickening into the mushrooms until it is as thick as you want.
  3. Serve.
