Ron and Sandy shared this recipe for creamed mushrooms, which is an especially nice dish.
- 2 pounds of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 stick butter
- 1 Tbsp salt
- Canned evaporated milk
- In a Dutch Oven saute mushrooms in butter, add salt, cover and heat until bubbly. Add evaporated milk until the mushrooms are covered.
- To thicken, mix a few Tbsp flour with a small amount of additional canned milk. Add the thickening into the mushrooms until it is as thick as you want.
